【Kota Tinggi Firefly Park ーコタティンギホタル鑑賞 】

Fireflies, locally-known as ‘Kunang Kunang’ in Bahasa, are perhaps Kota Tinggi’s biggest attraction. Emitting bright light from its abdomen, this bug tends to favour mangrove swamp areas.
We took a night river cruise to view the natural firework show of Kunang Kunag along Johor River. The darkness and the silence of night which you won’t be able experience in a city life, the hundreds of tiny bugs were glowing in the dark but tend to gather around certain trees. What a fantastic view, it was!!
日暮れに合わせて到着したKota Tinggi Firefly Parkからは、ちょうど赤い夕陽が沈みかけていた。既に駐車場にはシンガポール車も含め数台の車が。。さすが祭日前夜は普段よりお客さまも多いようす。今回の殆どの参加者がホタル鑑賞初体験とあり皆さんワクワク感いっぱい！
先に夕食を済ませ、８時過ぎにボート乗船。ゆっ〜くり進むボートのエンジン音だけが響き渡る闇夜のジョホール川にホタルのショーを待ってる観客者の私達に現れたものは。。。
ジョホール滞在中には是非一度は見ていただきたい、自然が織り成すまさにアートです！
